ABOUT

Moscow Scoring Orchestra, the newest professional studio orchestra performing for film, was founded in 2020 by Evgeny Tonkha of K17.

Tonkha himself works extensively as a Los Angeles studio musician recording on over 300 soundtracks for films (including “Star Wars” by John Williams, “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “Spider-Man” by Hans Zimmer, "Mulan" by Harry Gregson-Williams, “Toy Story” by Randy Newman, “First Man” by Justin Hurwitz and “Venom” by Ludwig Goranson).

Knowing the recording industry from the inside-out and having extensive experience working with top composers and recording engineers, we can offer our clients the highest quality recordings.

Located in Moscow, Russia, our home scoring stage is the legendary Mosfilm (https://music.mosfilm.ru/en/studio-1/) who’s acoustics of world-class stature can easily accommodate full symphony orchestras with choir and percussion.

Working with only world-class engineers and awe-inspiring ‘Russian school’ musicians, The Moscow Scoring Orchestra is available to perform at the highest standards while we offer a full range of services: arrangement, preparation of parts, mixing, and mastering.
